You may have found a new way to diet?

 

It is easy to let life get away from us, already it is Monday again, what happened to the weekend? Why does it seem to go faster than today will, dragging slow Monday?

Yes you could be right although , with Christmas around the corner, no doubt, I will forget to be mindful when my eyes set upon all the lovely goodies lol. :nyam:

 

Every day seems to go faster than the one before, to me. I can't believe that in a months time we will be into 2015, think I missed most of 2014.

I think I did too, but last night I was lying on the settee, my dog curled up next to me, watching  a favourite film, looking at the Christmas tree that hadn't killed us all, the log fire was lit and I had a glass of chilled white wine in my hand.... it was sheer bliss.  That moment will keep me going a long while and when I am stressed I will try and go back there and remember every bit of it :)

I like exercises such as this one. I'm not anywhere unexpected and nothing unexpected has happened, but it has encouraged me to chill out. For me it is just remembering to do the exercise again, but I will try! Thanks :)

Hello,

 

I like to encourage mindfulness as it relates to our thoughts and their patterns. The Universe of our body is always listening to the flow of our stated affirmations. It will create a physical reality for us based entirely on what it hears the 'I am' think and say. The spoken word has a vibration tone which our DNA literally responds to. The law of attraction is put into motion based on our thoughts. When self love is represented, we will experience it. When it is not, we will experience that.

 

Being mindful of our thinking is the first step. Evolving our beliefs, emotions, and patterns of Self Reflection will lead to joy, the art of being authentically happy, and physical well being. This is a 24 hour a day, seven days a week effort. It is not an easy task to change our way of being however it is worthwhile. Our Souls aspiration is that we undertake this journey, as I see these things.

I will not judge myself but I do feel that I am more relaxed(it is not so that I am all serene but yes I have improved) gained some patience and try to be at peace with myself although it is not that I have become less ambitious I still try to do all things all things with being present in the moment but now it is not that tough to observe thoughts objectively as it was initially they just flow and I am trying to blend it with ten minutes meditation per day. :music:

Madam Marigold,  sounds like you live in paradise. I suppose by now your dog may have passed?  My granddog is blind and mostly deaf. He messes all over every time his health status deteriorates, becomes one confused little dog... and then finds his bearings again and life goes on as normal except they have to escort him outdoors now to do his thing so he doesn't get lost. Otherwise he's one of the kids. we love 'em.

I've been practicing mindfulness more and  more and have found the benefits to be remarkable! I have become more aware of my surroundings, my senses have heightened and I have become less forgetful not to mention more relaxed. Slowing down and being mindful is actually very restful for the mind, something it needs to stop overload.

 

I revisited Crystals  thread in the hope that, those who haven't seen  it before ,might do so now and be introduced to mindfulness. It really is beneficial. :)
